Adhesion films are soft, very smooth plastic films made of PVC or PE, umgummed adhesive on smooth surfaces. That these weak forces develop a noticeable
effect, the contact area must be as sizeable as possible; which is only been given on really smooth surfaces like glass, porcelain, polished metal and some plastics. Very thin adhesion films (60my), clingfilms, are used in food areas - thicker films (150my) serve as display protection, labelling marks, advertising stickers. Totally removeable.
